Chicken and Dumplings with Lima Beans by Teresa Adams
Chicken, 4 leg quarters 1 large onion, chopped
1 can lima beans Salt and pepper to taste 1-pkg Frozen dumplings Water for boiling
In a large stockpot
bring Chicken to a boil. Boil chicken until it falls off the bone. Remove Chicken. Debone and adding meat back to broth. Add
lima beans, onions, salt and paper.
Bring Chicken to a boil. Add frozen dumplings one at a time until you have added
entire package. Stir one time. Turn heat down to simmer. Simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and cover. Let set aside
for 20 minutes until ready to serve.
Serve hot with biscuits.

Whole
Chicken, cut up 8 large Potatoes, chopped 4 meduim Onions, chopped 8 Carrots, chopped 1 lb link Sausage, sliced
into bite size pieces Salt and Pepper to taste
Place chicken in large pot. Cover with water and bring to a rolling
boil. Turn heat down to simmer. Cook for 30 minutes, then add remaining ingredients. Bring back to a boil. Boil for five minutes,
stirring often. Then reduce heat to simmer. Allow to cook for another 30 minutes.
Serve with: Rice Biscuits
